About Maya
The Philosophy of Resilience
I'm Maya Shirvani - a Doctor of Chiropractic (non-practicing), cancer survivor, and mother. At 35, I was diagnosed with non-Hodgkin's lymphoma. Chemotherapy put me into menopause overnight.
What followed became a decades-long exploration of health - not just how to live longer, but how to stay strong, capable, metabolically healthy, and fully engaged in life.
Today, at 56, I'm stronger than I've ever been.
I share what I'm learning and practicing around strength, mobility, metabolic health, nutrition, and the habits that support a capable body over time.
